At Autotechshop, we’re committed to delivering quality products and excellent service. Please review this policy to understand your rights and our terms regarding returns, refunds, and warranties.
You may return eligible items within 14 days of delivery, provided the following conditions are met:
The item is unused, uninstalled, and in original condition
All packaging, tags, accessories, and manuals are included and intact
The product shows no signs of damage, scratches, or attempted fitting
A valid proof of purchase is provided
To initiate a return, please email us at info@autotechshop.co.za. Once approved, we’ll send return instructions.
Unauthorised returns will not be accepted.
Return Shipping Costs: Unless the return is due to our error or a defective product, courier fees (to and from) will be your responsibility.
Inspect your parcel upon delivery. If you receive the wrong item or one that’s damaged or defective, notify us within 48 hours of delivery so we can resolve the issue promptly. Supporting photos may be required.
Certain items are not eligible for return, including:
Custom or special-order items
Personalised products
Gift cards
Items on sale or clearance

To exchange an item, we recommend placing a new order and returning the original item separately. This ensures faster turnaround and stock reservation.
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the approval status.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
Note: It may take additional time for your bank to reflect the refund in your account.
If a return is due to customer negligence or is outside warranty coverage, courier fees will be at your expense.
All products carry a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects.
Important: For all electronic products, the warranty is only valid if installed by an authorised fitment centre. Proof of fitment may be requested when processing a warranty claim.
Warranty covers manufacturing faults only. It does not cover:
Damage caused by incorrect installation
General wear and tear
Negligence or misuse
Water damage (unless the product is specifically rated waterproof)
Returns, refunds, and warranty claims are subject to approval at Autotechshop’s discretion, based on our evaluation of the product and supporting documentation.
